I'm Geoffrey Workman, this is my site and I hope you enjoy the artwork. My artwork has received ribbons and awards over the years in shows I have participated in. The subject matter and the various mediums tell stories of life experiences. I paint mainly with oils and pastels and sculpt in a number of materials. Most of my work is based on my life of hunting and fishing.
Ten years ago, I lost 70% of my eye sight forcing me to use 30% of my peripheral vision to accomplish my art. It took a while to get used to painting again, but I now use a technique of eyesight memory to replace my central vision.
I still receive recognition for my work. A great deal of my work is done plein air, but some is from reference photos I've accumulated. I truly hope you enjoy my works. Please take time to review it at your leisure.
